BUDGET 2025
The much anticipated autumn budget wasn’t as hard hitting on the property market as anticipated.
The good news:
The rumoured seller tax on homes over £500k was not on the agenda
No changes to stamp duty
The new £2m property levy will apply to very few properties in the Tees Valley area
Overall?
Our local property market remains stable, steady and well-positioned for 2026
The Budget should reassure buyers and sellers that if you are thinking of moving, now could be the perfect time
Let’s get the ball rolling..
