At Smith & Friends Estate Agents we are passionate about our community and local area. Once again our Managing Director, Mark Smith is going to join many other Tees Valley business leaders in supporting the CEO Sleepout at the Riverside Stadium on 1 May 2025. Money raised from this will support many local charities based in the Tees Valley. Mark saw first hand from many visits to where the money raised goes and its needed and worthwhile to give those a chance who may have fallen through cracks in the support system. Mark said 'what shocked me at first was those that I met who were currently homeless and had been homeless were not the situation you might expect. Some had very good jobs, some were ex-service personel, some didn't know where to turn to. It could happen to anyone. The charities involved provide a direction and a chance to built your life again. It was a humbling and emotional experience and something want to support again to keep rasising funds and the profile of these charities in the Tees Valley.'
